King is Ours was established by Atlanta artist Gilbert Young to repatriate the expression of our collective national heritage to America. My name is Clint Button, one of only approx a dozen full time granite sculptors left in the USA Granite Industry. Go to www. kingisours. com to join, sign petition, etc and help us keep a $100 million project in the hands of American Artists and Artisans. China is only a circumstantial participant in this specific issue, even though current press coverage has overlooked this fact. Some media outlets have made great effort to make this a race/racism issue, even uninviting me from a recent CNN broadcast specifically because I an not African American. I stood only feet from Gilbert Young in the CNN Atlanta studio as the moderator spun the debate into a confrontation. We need to produce a positive solution, not simply instigate dissent. Help up do this. We look forward to hearing from you.
